This webinar will be presented by Professor Lexine Stapinski
Professor Lexine Stapinski (PhD, MClinPsych) is a Clinical Psychologist, Professor and Lead in Intervention and Implementation at the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, University of Sydney. Her research focusses on improving early intervention and treatment for co-occurring anxiety and substance use disorders. Her contributions include developing the first integrated CBT program for co-occurring social anxiety and alcohol use disorders, and collaborating with youth to co-design a web-based early intervention for anxiety and alcohol misuse. Prof Stapinski has secured >$AU39M in research funding and led 8 large trials to evaluate new intervention approaches. She has produced >167 publications, and her research impact has been recognized by 20 awards, most recently the Elsevier Mental Health and Prevention Mid-Career Researcher award.
